How we began

Established over 40 years ago, Jerry Harding started Barrenjoey Insurance Brokers in 1979 at our current location in Avalon Beach. Now in its 2nd generation Jerrys daughter Leah Hannan and John Phillips joined the business in 1998. In 2001 they became directors and in 2019 bought the business from Jerry. Jerry retired in May 2022 after providing over 40 years of dedicated service to the insurance industry. Our clients are like family and we pride ourselves on providing a personalised service. We nurture them through the whole process from risk management to the development of an insurance plan and throughout the claims process.
